One of the many reasons why we enjoy fishing is the fun and camaraderie we experience with our friends and family. Fishing in the winter is absolutely fun! In colder seasons, fishes tend to stay in shallow waters in the morning and go deeper into the lake later during the day.
Personally, crankbait is probably the best bait to use during the winter months, even at temperatures between 15 and 22 degrees. My friends and I consistently pulled bass weighing 3 to 8 pounds everyday by simply bouncing the crankbaits off the rocks. I got close to the shoreline about 20′ out, if I'm not mistaken. You should try it, Mika.
